Sam and Andrew had the most beautiful spring wedding at the Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan. When I arrived at this wedding venue, my jaw LITERALLY dropped. A timeless and elegant wedding venue, The Greencrest Manor offers picturesque landscapes and exquisite architecture with greenery wrapped around the entire building.
My experience photographing Sam and Andrews’s wedding here was amazing. It has the best staff who were there for whatever anyone needed. The day went by without any problems, and even if there were any behind the scenes, you’d never know! I absolutely loved working there & can’t wait to work with them again!

The Greencrest Manor is located about 1 hour Southeast of Grand Rapids Michigan in Battle Creek. The French estate is located near Saint Mary’s Lake and surrounded by woods.
Closest Airport to Greencrest Manor
The closest airport is the Kalamazoo Battle Creek International Airport. It is about a 40-minute drive to the venue from the airport. The second closest is Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, which is just over an hour’s drive to the venue.

Getting Ready Spaces at Greencrest Manor
Greencrest Manor offers several beautiful places for wedding parties to get ready. Each space is perfect for some pre-wedding photos of you all getting ready.
For the Bride:
The bridal suite, aka, the “She Shed” is located in the beautiful gardens. This gorgeous getting-ready space offers the perfect relaxing place to enjoy your morning and get ready for your big day.
For the Groom:
The groom and his groomsmen have two options of where they can choose to get ready. The first location is the “Pump House” which offers a super moody and unique nook hidden among the trees for the guys to enjoy some drinks and relax.
Then there is the “Hop House” which offers a large flat-screen tv, custom leather seating, cornhole, and a tap wall bar with Greencrest Craft beer. It’s the perfect space for the groom to have some fun with his best friends before the ceremony!

Ceremony Lawn Deck
The ceremony space at this venue feels like it is straight out of a fairytale. Surrounded by nature, the deck overlooks the beautiful gardens and fountains with the charming French Manor as the backdrop.
Cocktail Hour
East and South Verandas
For the cocktail hour, your guests can head over to the East and South Verandas just a few steps away from the ceremony site. This classy and elegant space offers a built-in bar, plenty of seating, and elegant decor and finishes.
Reception Space
Maison de Fetas
The stunning reception space at the Greencrest Manor is the Maison de Fetas aka the celebration house. The doors open up all around creating a super open atmosphere. All of the walls are white creating a blank slate for you to create the reception space of your dreams. And it offers a built-in bar at the back set up and ready to serve your guests.

When booking your wedding at the Greencrest Manor, you will have two options for packages. There is the single-day package or the weekend package. Because this is such a large property, most couples choose to do the weekend package to truly be able to enjoy their wedding weekend on this 15-acre property.
Single-Day Rates Starting at $44,000
Includes:
- Venue coordinator to be your point of contact and provide assistance on the wedding day
- Online wedding planning platform
- Two dressing suites
- Tables & chairs
- Linens, china tableware, flatware, and glassware
Weekend Package Rates Starting at $58,000
Includes:
- All of the amenities included with Single-Day Rentals plus
- Full access to the 15-acre estate from 3 pm Friday–11 am on Sunday to accommodate all wedding weekend events
- Accommodations in the eight guest rooms in the Manor House for two nights
- Light breakfast & mimosas on Saturday morning for guests staying in the guest rooms
- Full brunch & mimosas on Sunday morning after the wedding for guests staying in the guests’ rooms
FAQs About Greencrest Manor
What is the best time of year to get married at Greencrest Manor?
If you are wanting to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces that this venue offers then I highly recommend a wedding from mid-April through October. During this time, all of the outdoor spaces are available for use. In the off-season, weddings take place inside the manor due to the weather.
How far in advance should we book this venue?
Well considering it is only halfway through July and the venue is already booked out for 2024 and is now booking 2025, I would say you need to reserve it pretty early. As soon as you know you want this to be your venue, book it ASAP as it will most likely be booked out for over a year and a half.
Do they offer catering?
Yes, they partner with Millenial Catering which offers delicious and savory restaurant-style food.
Should we hire a wedding planner?
So, while a month of coordinator is included in their wedding packages, I still think it would make the planning process that much more enjoyable if you hired a wedding planner. A venue of this size is going to require a lot to plan the wedding, so a wedding planner is a must. You can either opt to work with their partner wedding planning agency, Modern Day Collective, or find someone else.
Do they offer accommodations if it rains?
Yes, if it rains, everything will be moved into the Celebration House.
About how much should be budgeted for a wedding at this venue?
This is definitely a high-end wedding venue so the estimated budget for a wedding here is from $85,000 to $135,000. The pricing also depends on if you choose to do the single-day or weekend package.
