Who I am is the biggest piece of my business & the way that I photograph. I approach life with the goal to lead the most authentic life possible. I’ll probably tell you way too much about my personal life & then ask all the deep questions about yours. Because I think that’s the way to connect with each other.

How it all began...
It’s a tale as old as time — I was just a girl with a camera & a dream…. LOL
No but if I’m being honest, this was actually never the dream! I was not that little girl dreaming about my perfect wedding day or who I wanted to marry. I didn’t even really know what went on at a wedding until I was maid of honor at my sister’s wedding at 17! And even then, I still didn’t realize the thought & intentionality that goes into wedding planning.
But as I was finishing high school and heading to college, I had started taking my mom’s camera with me everywhere & documenting everything from sports games & wildlife to creative portraits of any friends who were willing to model for me. And slowly yet surely, I fell in love with photography.

I started to notice how an intentionally captured photo of someone could change their entire perception of themselves & send their confidence through the roof! Or how in a split second a moment could be here & gone, and yet through photography, I could stop time & bottle that moment up forever. So once I shot my first wedding in 2019 & realized the power that artfully composed images could hold, I was addicted!! Like literally, it felt like a drug.
From there, every client connection made & gallery delivered just fed the addiction.From east coast to west coast & every where in between, I began traveling the world to photograph the most genuine & loving couples.

I moved to Grand Rapids on a whim and two years later I still love living here more than ever!
I spend about 50% of the year traveling & I love every second of it.
I have a lil vintage camper that’s been in my family since the 70s and I loveeeee to take it camping.
I love going out for a cute lil cocktail.
I'm also not picky about camping and you can catch me camping in my car more often than not. I just love to be outside & enjoying time in nature!
FaceTiming my besties is always the highlight of my week.
I make it my entire personality to thrift 90% of everything I own.
Deep talks with people I just met will always feed my soul.
I am VERY open about my own mental health & therapy journey & am always advocating for all things mental health!
Sunset swims in Lake Michigan are my favorite thing in the world and can cure any problem I'm ever having.
Long solo road trips are the best times for brainstorming new ideas and daydreaming about my life.
I have been working as a part of Morgan’s team for over two years now, and I’ve loved every second of it! I am a lover of whiskey, gothic architecture, the moon, tacos, DQ blizzards and so many other things that make me even cooler than Morgan…LOL. Morgan was actually one of the people who first inspired me to start pursing photography as more than just a hobby — what started as a small internship for MGP led to her becoming not only a mentor, but a trusted friend, as well. I began working alongside her on wedding days, observing her approach to photography and learning how to capture moments in the same artistic and documentary way that she does! Soon enough, she began trusting me to take on weddings, elopements, and sessions in her place when she’s unavailable.
